Verkefnislýsing

Gerplustræti 25-27 er 24 íbúða staðbyggt fjölbýlishús. Stærð hússins er um 4500 m². Húsið skiptist í tvo matshluta sem stallast í lóðinni. Neðri helmingur hússins er númer 25 við Gerplustræti og efri hlutinn er númer 27. Neðanjarðar undir norðvesturhluta lóðar og hluta húss er óupphituð opin bílageymsla sem hægt er að læsa með stálrimlarennihliði, í kallara eru sérgeymslur íbúða ásamt inntaksklefa og hjóla og vagnageymslum. Á 1. hæð er gert ráð fyrir að innrétta megi íbúðir til að mæta þörfum hreyfihamlaðara. Stigahús með lyftu eru tvö staðsett fyrir miðju svalaganga.

Aðal burðarvirki byggingarinnar er úr járnbentri steinsteypu. Þak yfir efstu hæð er gert úr trésperrum, heilklætt og einangrað með steinull, gifsklætt á grind að innanverðu.

Gluggar eru timbur / ál, ísettir eftir steypu. Útveggir byggingarinnar eru klæddir loftræstri utanhúss klæðningu í flokki 1. Um er að ræða bæði slétta og báraða málmklæðningu.
